I’m so humbled by my accomplishments. You can have anything you want, just not everything you want. Having a mission that’s driven for the right reasons and working toward a goal is guaranteed success. However, you must be inspired for the right reason.
I never started Expecting Models because I wanted lots of money. I started Expecting Models because I was that model who felt lost when I became pregnant and wondered how to continue my flow of income. I simply wanted to continue working.
My passion and drive to help my pregnant fellow artist was unstoppable. I was eager to help talent find a way to stay in their profession during such a precious time in their lives. My endless hours of work became effortless. All I could think about was helping another pregnant woman who may have felt lost because their jobs were at a stand-still.
I remember opening a bank account with $10.00. Working from my 2 bedroom apartment in Manhattan and often times never even leaving that apartment because I was so intrenched in work. I was so inspired to get every pregnant model and actress in front of anyone with a maternity pulse.
Deep down inside I knew my mission would manifest into something more powerful than me. It never even crossed my mind that I’d fail. That word didn’t exist in my vocabulary. I was placed in this position to be of service. That’s all I understood.
Today I hold the same values. I am more passionate than ever for what I do. I approach every day with an attitude to be of service.
Some days are phenomenal and some are beyond challenging. But whichever day it is, I never ever give up. That too isn’t an option and not in my vocabulary.

And we love you for it!! Thank you!!!!
Thank you! so much Alina:-)
Hi Liza,
So good to hear things are well. I relate 100% to your story as Maternal Dance was started because I was pregnant and couldn’t find any prenatal dance programs (remember Crys Wiley in Maternal Dance on Runway Moms?).
The first time I was asked how much the classes were I realized I never even thought about how much I was going to charge! Now I’ve got The Prenatal Belly Dance Workout DVD, endorsed by the March of Dimes. If you haven’t seen it I’d be happy to send you a copy.
Look for my new look and website this Spring, and let’s stay in touch!

Liza,
Thank you for all of your encouraging posts; I always enjoy reading them! I submitted my photos at the end of January and have not received a response. I know you are busy, I just wanted to make sure my submission didn’t get lost during delivery. Thanks so much!!

Hi Laura,
I may not be able to sign everyone and I select my talent by the photos sent in- it’s impossible for me to get back to everyone.
