Easter Events in New York

Easter Activities at the Children’s Museum of Manhattan –Upper West Side
Sunday, March 31 10am-4pm
212 West 83rd Street between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway
Free with admission: $11
The tot spot offers a trio of holiday activities. Preschoolers can create Easter collages while school-age kids decorate actual eggs. CMOM also hosts a twist on the usual egg hunt: Visitors search for half a dozen paper eggs that are hidden throughout the museum. Once located, kids can redeem their completed hunt sheets for Easter prizes.

Easter Egg Hunt – West Village
Sunday, March 31 at 10:30am
Church of St. Luke in the Fields, 487 Hudson Street near Christopher Street
Right after services let out, families can follow the Easter Bunny into the garden to join in a festive egg hunt that’s open to the public.

Dinosaur Egg Decorating & Egg Hunt – Upper West Side
Sunday, March 31at 2pm
Bank Street Bookstore, 610 West 112th Street at Broadway
An egg hunt with a prehistoric twist: Instead of looking for plastic or hard-boiled chicken eggs, kids can search the bookshop for dinosaur eggs, and then work on dino-themed arts and crafts.

Forest Hills Ascension Presbyterian Church’s Easterfest – Forest Hills
Sunday, March 31 11am-2pm
2 Russell Place near Ascan Avenue
The church’s annual holiday celebration includes kids’ games, crafts, refreshments and a traditional Easter egg hunt. Kids that attend that morning’s Easter church services are admitted for $2.

Easter at Bohemian Hall – Astoria
Sunday, March 31 2-5pm
Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden, 29-19 24th Avenue between 29th and 31st Streets
Free admission but food purchase required
Spend Easter Sunday at the family-friendly beer garden enjoying an egg hunt, arts and crafts, photo ops with the Easter Bunny and live polka music.

Easter Egg Hunt – Jamaica
Sunday, March 31 3-5pm
Forgiveness Assembly, 139-35 88th Avenue between the Cross Island Parkway and 247th Street
Immediately following Easter services, kids can search the church for Easter eggs.
