Keeping up with Kegel exercises is très important during pregnancy! If you’re not doing them already, you should start now. The beauty of Kegel exercises is that you can do them anywhere! While you’re stopped at a red light, waiting at the doctor’s office, or surfing the web.
Kegels require little effort but deliver so many benefits! These exercises help to control and relax muscles during labor and delivery. Training these muscles will reduce bladder problems and hemorrhoids by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles.
Have an easier birthing experience by contracting 5-10 seconds, relaxing and repeating 10 – 20 times. Do this at least three times a day. You can also speed up the healing the process by doing Kegel exercises during the postpartum period!
