I love making a difference in your life.  My journey with Expecting Models and Runway Moms went further than my wildest dreams. I’d wake up every day doing what I loved. I had no idea maternity modeling could would go this far. What I knew is that I had an unstoppable passion to help models continue working during their pregnancy. This was my mission. It worked, and it was effective.

I initially launched The Stork Magazine early 2007. I was still shooting Runway Moms and  working on my business, Expecting Models. The schedule began to take me away from my family. I was not looking to be home a smaller amount and work more. Spending more time away from my kids wasn’t an option, so I decided to put some things on hold.

I’m aware of how fortunate we are to have a penny and a dream take so many people this far. It’s everyone’s success story! The American Dream. Yet from my perspective, I got too busy, my soul ran dry. I found myself in a whirl wind, feeling the imbalance of keeping up with my impossible schedule. I say “impossible” because, spending time with my children was non-negotiable. Every thing was happening all so fast and I didn’t want to miss my mommy moments. There was no way to condense another task in and be a mom.

The universe kept giving me little signs to decelerate but as an entrepreneur, that’s was like talking to a wall.

The world of a working mom and  juggling careers with children is no easy feat. For me, something needed to give so I could sustain quality time with my family. Hence, I decided to put The Stork Magazine on the back burner.

Years later, I started an ongoing Blog for Expecting Models. Through time it started to look more and more like a publication and one morning, (just like that), I decided to revive my little baby and give it a fair run.

So here I am, back in full circle. This time, I have on a new pair of glasses and foresee a platform filled with creative inspiration and innovative ideas driven to motivate you amongst others. At this juncture, I now encourage you to become your inner best.

Over the years, I’ve learned so much. So with my extensive experience, I’m here today to give back to my community of models, moms, and industry leaders with energetic content driven by positive motives. Together we will grow.

I invite you to be a part of my dynamic world. I want to hear from you. What is really going on in your life? What would you like to learn more about? How can The Stork Magazine deliver a Track Record full of quality living?

Your thoughts count, your life counts and every woman has a voice.

Now, I’d like to hear yours!

Liza, Thanks for sharing your story. There are many days when my life feels like the one you are describing – I too run my own business and have a 1 year old at home. I just try to focus on doing what I can when I’m at work and attempting to stay in the moment when I’m at home.
    Thanks again,

I’m happy to hear you are juggling motherhood and running a business. It’s never ending:-) I know!!
I’m so impressed that you are certified Kinesiologist. I have a degree in Human Movement and do I know how hard Kinesiology is! What does a day in the life of a Kinesiologist look like?
