One way to get motivated and inspired is by listening to music. We all know studies have proven positive benefits from moms and moms-to-be by rocking to the beat of your own drum. In fact, some claim the benefits go deep down into the womb. Which ever way you slice it, a melody can bring the best out of every mood. Whether you enjoy contemporary, classical, blues, salsa or hip hop,  singing along and moving your body can provide a mind and mood altering experience. Finding the right tune can help your emotions reach pivotal points of happy, sad and free.

Mommy musicSome may opt to have music help extract sad emotions which can lead to tears. While others need human movement to help regenerate their spirit. The human body reaps many benefits from creative expression.

We live in a stern world where tears may appear to demonstrate weakness. We all know, how much better you feel after a good strong cry. Others need to move their body in space. The power of dance for pregnant moms is a freeing experience.

Give yourself permission to enjoy music today. Which ever type of music floats your boat, go for it! Dance, sing, and make it your mission to have fun. It’s your moment to shine. The universe created you just as you are. Right and Perfect. So today we encourage you to express yourself.

    Music always puts me in a better mood. I love dancing and singing along too. I play music for my baby too. He loves it!

    Any chance I get I dance. It makes me feel great and I especially love it so the baby can feel movement from me. More importantly the baby can feel my joy from dancing I’m feeling.:-)
