Stretch marks are common markings on your skin that appear during and after pregnancy.

They look like strands or lines on your skin. As with sudden growth spurts during puberty or rapid muscle growth often seen in body builders, stretch marks can be embarrassing especially when wearing a swim suit or shorts.

The one relief the people can afford from stretch marks is that they are not harmful and often fade, but may take a period of time. During pregnancy woman most often find stretch marks on the breasts, hips, thighs, butt and abdomen.

Some remedies to alleviate this condition is keeping you skin hydrated with creams containing collagen which helps the elasticity of your skin. Another alternative isĀ  a simple holistic approach. Olive Oil.

Most importantly, treat your condition and do what it takes to be your personal best!

I’m confused by the picture attached to this article about stretch marks, as the nude woman in the photo not only has no stretch marks, but appears to have been photoshopped to have perfectly flawless skin.

I know this is site run by Expecting Models and so flaws are not to be expected, but perhaps this photo is not the best choice to present in article explicitly targeted to women who are struggling with stretch-marks, or are worried about them.

I’m 5 months pregnant with no signs of stretch marks at the moment. I’ve been using safflower oil and/or coconut oil on my skin for years!!!!! I swear by it!!
