Stay away from undercooked meat and eggs and minimize caffeine intake. Doctors recommend that women take 1,000 mcg of folic acid every day during pregnancy. Do not undermine the importance of working out and make time to incorporate at least 30 minutes of exercise into your daily schedule.

As you prepare to give birth, practice finding peace of mind by allowing yourself to take a break and make some time to yourself. Ask your partner to help you perform everyday tasks and don’t be afraid to reach out to your family. Prioritize your responsibilities and set some time apart to think and focus on your needs and wants.
