Its spring, you’re pregnant, and all you can think of are the negatives. Yes, sure there are a few things that may be a little uncomfortable, but hey this is the time to take advantage of it all- it won’t last forever, you may be experiencing Pregnancy Blues.

So you’ve gain a little weight, and maybe your shoes feel too tight. These aren’t bad things. This is the time to love your body! One perk are all the amazing new fashions for the spring season! And just think, a new pair of gorgeous sandals would make your feet look and feel great. Plus you can probably fill out a few new cute shirts and dresses with your newly enhanced bust line! Who doesn’t love wearing a plunging neckline or a leopard blouse? Pregnancy can definitely be the new sexy! Your significant other will thank you!

It may seem like everything you is telling you “not to”, “don’t”, or “never”, but what you should do is almost everything, within reason and in moderation. Everyone is different, and every pregnancy is different. Of course you should listen to your doctor, but listen to your body. Eat the food you love, exercise, and do the things that you’ve been too busy to do. Use your bed-resting time to catch up a few novels you’ve been meaning to read, and watch a few good movies. Even going for walks and light jogs are fine. How you feel effects what you think, so think good thoughts. When you think better, you feel better.

If everyone tells you this is the time to be careful, and they all treat you like fine china, then embrace it! Think of everyone as the personal assistants that you’ve never had before. Your perspective is everything. Make sure you view your cup as half full instead of half empty. If it makes you happier, it can even be filled a little with red wine. Who says you can’t have the time of your life and be pregnant? That is totally possible!
