Protein is essential throughout your nine months. ┬áIt’s especially important during your third trimester, when your bun in the oven is growing fast and building up layers of cute baby fat. Consuming enough protein from amino acids help fuel your body and organs. Thus also help stabilize sugar which is especially important to women at risk to gestational diabetes. Pregnant Moms should aim for about 70 grams more than the recommended daily limit for non-pregnant ladies. Beans, meat and poultry are a good source of protein.
